The Society of Sensation extends a cordial invitation to the Masquerade of Perception at the end of this monthly cycle. All interested denizens of the cage are welcomed to attend. A dress code of formal wear and masks will be in effect, though some exceptions may be made if necessary.
Instruction on formal dance may be available in the coming weeks.
Any interested in participating are encouraged to inquire with Factotum Quinn at the Festhall for further information.
//ooc: Looking to host this toward at the end of July. If anyone would like to be involved in the preparations or hosting. Please feel free to send a message or use this thread for rp.
Sasha tracks Quinn down the next time he's in the Festhall in order to congratulate him on his promotion, demand all the details about this planned masquerade, and offer her help.
Mareth would do the same, of course, never one to pass up an evening of drink, song, and resplendent costume! She would submit a definitive 'yes' for an RSVP, and of course, offer to help with the event in any way her sorcerous talents could assist.
Quinn is naturally delighted by the interest his peers exhibit in the event. He explains that the event was suggested by a friend outside the faction. It seemed a lovely way to expose more people to a semblance of high society, especially for those who might not have such a chance otherwise. Also costume parties are quite fun!
Everyone's offers of assistance are gladly accepted. Apparently he has already organized something with the tailors and contacted a few local musicians about participating. There is still the matter of decorations, catering, security, and a number of other details that still require some work.
Considering what Mareth offers seem to spark some further excitable idea. Perhaps they could work out something to make it even more of a sensory masquerade? A meeting to plan some time during the week is suggested.
Upon hearing the news of the masquerade, Itsuyashi would send an RSVP for himself and his wife, that they would definitely like to participate in the masquerade.
The Rakshasa-Sensate Kirmira has also sent an RSVP - and a request for exception to the mask rule due to his rather considerably furred face - making a mask rather fruitless.

The advertisement in the morning SIGIS caught her attention. The night of the event another mask will join the soiree dressed with mystery and mysticism.
Of course Odette was going to be there, eagerly following the progress of the masquerade since it's suggestion and aiding Quinn in small ways she could when asked. Not that she'd attended a ball before, mind you, or cared overly for the fance and pomp of the event. The dancing, the drinking and the merriment, however, were things she could definitely get behind.
For the most part, the bardess spends what little free time she has by a hearth in the Hive ward, enraptured in brief spurts of musical practice to prepare for the event to come.
