Rumors spread around the city of ghostly riders appearing and attacking random planes walkers. Out of odd snow storms that appear and vanish with the riders. Although most are killed in each attack at least one person is left alive to deliver their message to all who will listen

"Long since have the planeswalkers of Sigil hunted the fey, Now we shall hunt you all. Tell the dragon this is his doing"

Word circulated amongst most higher circles in the Cage that one Lucelle Vand'hovar had opted to involve herself in the matter even prior to the attack outside the Civic Festhall.

Gossip about the Bazaar would have it that the old elf had been seen speaking with the wyrm in question and a woman purported to be a representative of the Winter Court, though these claims have yet to be verified in the form of an official statement.

Those same sources, however, have gone on to say that the old Sensate was attempting to broker a peace between the two parties.

Whether this is true - or if it *remains* true after the attack before the Civic Festhall yestereve - has not yet been determined, though many a witness claims that the old woman had laid claim to a blade left at the scene by the Winter Court assailants.

Miranda Illdesserin, hearing of these assaults and upheaval, and having heard about troubling stories about fey and children over the years makes sure that key areas of her tower are protected with magic circles of warding comprised almost entirely out of cold iron shavings and she carefully places cold iron weapons in secure locations around her tower.

She then places advertising signs all over sigil advertising a blow out sale on type of cold iron weapon, even going so far as to leave a short description on the wonders of making weapons out of such a cheap yet effective metal.

The sight of such abhorrent posters bearing the name of someone toward whom she'd made an effort to show kindness and consideration causes a certain frosted witch to shiver and shudder in a way that has nothing to do with cold. And within the day, each poster that this witch could find would seem to have sprouted defacement all of its own!

Big, blue letters cover over the posters, obscuring relevant information behind slogans such as 'Cold Iron Cruelty' or 'Kindness Repaid With Iron,' and crude drawings of Miranda with an oversized, overly-shiny bald head -- sometimes the size of the wizard's seven-month belly -- and a silly, dumb look on her face.

Reports among the average berk would seem to suggest that goblinoids painted these, smelling distinctly of the Undersigil's unique, pungent blek. A few more peery cutters might have noticed a blank expression on one of the goblinoids' faces.

Seeing these defaced Illdesserin posters, Truthbringer begins defacing them in turn. Acquiring well made parchments, they are placed near the defaced posters.

Choice examples include: "The Fey are here your for children!" "The Fey are never to be trusted!" "The Fey thirst for your blood!" "Cold Iron to defend against Cold Killers." The list continues, as the bladegolem has come up with a variety of fearmongering info-parchments. It is nothing if not persistent, as the parchments are placed at every defaced poster.

Returning from the epic battlefield upon Red Salt Flats of the Quasi-elemental plane of Salt, where he served as one of the three dragon mounts which bore the Stealle blade wielding heroes of Sigil who together confronted and vanquished the aspirant god Kakos and stymied the resurrection of the Nightmare God and their claim over the inner planes, the dragon Juanthoraxus did not return to Sigil to revel in celebration, but rather to his duty and his wards atop his mountain kingdom in Brux.

After a long swim in dusk bathed waters, washing away the caked and stinging salts adhered to his scales from the previous battle, the dragon resumed his vigil upon the mountain, conferring with his loyalist among the fey and ensuring that no beasts beneath the shadow cast by his presence were hunted to excess, and no conflicts broke out among the Seelie and Unseelie residing therein.

Somewhere nearby to the re-posterings, an invisible person could be heard giggling incessantly at the idea of a golem -- a creature of order -- going around defacing posters! And of course, within the hour after the golem's departure, a blank-eyed goblin strolls on by with a bucket of blue paint and draws upon the new parchments as well.

Crude drawings of a shackled blade golem with a detached skull for a head -- a mimir, for certain -- kneeling with bowed head before a maniacally-laughing caricature of a big-headed, shiny bald Miranda, who brandishes a control rod.

The golem's slogans are defaced with carets and strikeouts inserting extra or replacement words.

'The Fey are most certainly not here your for children! Seriously? Who wants those? They're loud and make no end of blek.'

'The Fey thirst for your blood freedom from wyrm and human alike!'

'Cold Iron to defend against makes you nothing but Cold Killers.'

An arrow points to the golem drawing in each one, along with a simple, additional slogan, the same on each. 'Is this YOU?! Find your freedom!'

Stopping in front of one of the thrice-defaced posters, the enormous blue slaadi known generally to the people of the Cage as Anything rips it off the wall to bring the small, smudged letters closer to it's beady eyes. It's wide maw curls up into a grin, crushing the poster into a ball and tossing it into a magic bag. She then wanders around town some, looking for one of the multiple poster-overwritters hoping to come across one of them in the act, approaching the culprit without hesitation when he does, the sounds of his determined footsteps alerting to it's presence.

The blank-eyed goblin doesn't seem to take note of Anything's approach at first, too focused on carrying out its Geas, somewhere on the streets of the Hive Ward. Soon enough, though, the goblin turns its beady little eyes to regard the slaad as those determined footsteps approach too close to be for someone else.

The tiny creature inclines its head sideways, motioning down the street, and then heads off in that direction -- perhaps beckoning for Anything to follow?

Snow in Sigil? The thought excited Sasha immensely. She hadn't seen snow in such a long time, and fey riders sounded very intriguing as well.

She began spending a few hours every day on the balcony of one of the festhall towers, hoping to see one of these storms forming.
