Last I used it, I went all the way back to level 1. So I figure it can take away as much ex as you have, if you want it to. Otherwise I think like a level-by-level basis? When I was there it did a very thorough job explaining what it can do, including that it doesn't REALLY refund xp... what it does is takes like half of what you lose, and adds it to your rp xp pool or whatever, so you gain extra xp when you go out grinding...
Something like that. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong or if it's changed, I'm sure.

Yup, Grisome got it right...

More specifically the 50% you "get back" gets split into the two xp pools, so 25% is given in daily amounts when you log in, the other 25% gives bonus xp from monsters... until both are used up.

It's designed so that delevelling should also be something you can do for fun, just delevel to enjoy low levels again, although with better equipment and xp bonus so you'll fly back up in levels... Maybe try fighting things that are alot higher level than you and see the xp soar up high :)

Have fun :)

Yes, provided you use exactly identical name (no difference in spelling... and if you have gotten renamed by dm at some point, its the first name that counts)

You should preferably atleast announce to dms that you're rebuilding, since the antimule script will pick it up... but it's better if a player holds it really, since that player can save, making sure a crash doesn't make you lose all your equipment while you're rebuilding
