Zeksinasti the shadow dragon has no memory of his earlier life.
Not so very long ago he agreed to assist the Gloomwind Coven, a group of 3 powerful night hags resident in the Shadowfell. In exchange for a short period of support he was to be paid with much treasure for his horde. As body guard in their lair Zeksinasti assumed an alternate form so he could move about the environs of the Hags lair.
The Hags however had no intention of paying Zeksinasti or letting him leave. Over the course of a single moon they ritualised a curse each night. When it finally struck Zeksinasti it was of such power that it locked away all memories of the past and who he was. Giving him the new name Karsh Bruteborne, the “half orc” was to serve the Hags as a faithful dumb body guard for almost 80 years, until their own infighting finally split the coven and Karsh was left to wander.
Karsh still thinks of the Hags as kind mistresses who went away for reasons he doesnÂ’t understand. He also wrongly believes them to be the source of his shadowmagic.
In recent months he has found his way to Sigil and once again found work that makes him happy. A thug for hire roughing up people for a few coins, Concepts of good and evil and the city factions are a little beyond him. Due to the curse he is dim even by half orc standards.
