After Cratten returned to Cage and to his duty, a certain tiefling came to inform him about relationship change to Vanya, without truly hiding her intentions of trying to fish a favor from Cratten, without promising anything he heard her out and told her to keep moving...

So Vale's a bold one, he thought. It's his life, promise is a promise and I intend to keep mine. he gathered his equipment and went to seek Vale... once he found him entering bar in the Great Bazaar, he marched closer and stated out loud...

"Vale Reynolt..."

Waiting for Vale to turn around, he greeted Cratten, but Cratten continued in serious and stern tone almost immediately.

"I challenge you to duel to death."

Conversation around ceased as everyone around started to follow the dangerous situation, they shared a few words about Crattens motivations for this, also Vale attempted to make rulings for the duel, which Cratten almost immediately declined by stating that 'there's no honor in death, every means necessary for survival', Vale promised that he'd not kill Cratten in the duel to which Cratten merely stated that then the outcome was already decided.

Vale requested only one last ruling, incase Vale'd die in the duel, Cratten would leave Vanya alone. Cratten agreed to this term. Then said there'd be seven days until the duel to death would happen. In seventh day one of them would fall in Gymnasium arena infront of witnesses.

He turned around and reminded while he was marching away one last time... "Seven days..."

With this he marched to Great Gymnasium to book the arena for their usage for that day, as well as get a few bashers share posters about the duel. He wanted others to see it.

((The duel between Cratten Erroc and Vale Reynolt will be held in Great Gymnasium at saturday 20th of February, GMT +0, 8pm [if that's fitting time for you Biohazard89 <.<], you're welcome to come see the duel.

Rulewise, everything goes (save something that'd go against server rules of course), permanent death not enforced, if wanted, that's fine, but no one is forced.))

Once the place and duel was arranged, he started to commune with spirits, meditating and training to control his powers to full capabilities for the becoming test. He promised to the spirits out loud "We will not fail."

((I'll leave it to your discretion mr.o but for reference Gwyn is trapped in a pocket plane of nothingness. I'm not sure how that'd impact your damage reduction. He might realize he needs to get it elsewhere.))

So, Gwyn is gone for good? Since, I'd argue that "nothing" can exist in a pocket plane of "nothingness".

Okay, I'll just read the "nothingness" as a "breathable mixture of different gasses to allow long term survival"...

Character of mine once ended in a Pocketplane of Mustard Gas, thus I hope you understand my nitpick attitude towards pocket planes.

((doesn't matter too much way or another to me.))

Cratten prepares a few notes around the Great Bazaar saying the following:

---

Searching for ways to store multiple enchantments and unleash them in wanted time, expendable defensive measures and all kinds of rare empowering trinkets. If you have such for sale, please leave your mark and contact information below on this poster, I will collect them afterwards and find you in person to make the deal.

- Cratten Erroc.

Below the note there's plenty space to add information.

((Gwyn's consciousness is there, her body is not. Its a whole long complicated affair. As to her being gone for good that's currently not in my hands.))

*a dagger with a parchment is attached*

-Shiv".

The dagger has a skull on it there is also a crude drawing of a man dressed in skulls.

Valenfor DarkLeaf is heard saying " What? Why would someone duel to the death over a strumpet?" He then rubs his chin and adds " Do you think that i could get the skull of the looser unmolested? I am looking for a new topper for one of my staves."

Good Cratten, it would -behoove- you to see me first. I can help you prepare with whatever it is you're getting yourself into.

I seem to remember owing you a favor or two anyways.
