A Justicar of the Red Death seeks legal permission to kill Hildmor D'Kridis. She sends a request for a Writ of Lawful Execution to the City Courts.

"Please sign here, here, fill out this form, and that form." Ven would ask of the Justiciar in question. He would still keep up his facade for quite some time.

((* The Justicar would not actually arrive at the city courts. As I stated in my post, she sent them a request. It is my understanding that requests of this nature are processed by Guvners who are Factotums or higher rank.))

If it passes Garens desk on its way up to the Judges he would note the following opinion.

"As a matter of current legal standing, we cannot permit a legal writ of execution. d'Kridis has been tried and his sentance passed. The Mercykillers, I would assume, were a part of the sentancing portion and did not object in any fashion to the judgement and expulsion.

d'Kridis would require another trial, even in abstentia, be found guilty and then sentance can be leveled, again, by the Mercykillers at that time.

I would recommend, should this MercyKiller be intent on following through regardless, to suggest they accept legal bounties outside the Planar realm of Sigil and her territories, and collect such in areas where it's legally applied.

The decision to deny the writ is appealed to a higher authority.

((That is cool anyway. Garen would be free to stick a recommendation on it as it passed its way up the chain, or reply, or put a block on it, or drop it in the trash (assuming he was feeling unlawful that is).

So we can assume that Garen bounced it back with his written response, and then the "Justicar of the Red Death" (whoever that is) has simply resubmitted and appealed.))

The appeal is reviewed by a Judge of the Guvners.

Dear <insert name here>,

Unless you have information showing that Hildmor has committed further crimes within our jurisidiction this cannot be approved. However, there is an open bounty on his head. A private affair i understand. If you seek justice, you could always take it up as a private endeavour. Just to make it clear though, while Hildmor d'Kridis is banned from Sigil for eternity, should you proescute your action within the environs of Sigil you would be breaking the law.

Zadara looses a *tsk* upon reading the last line, then mutters resolutely to herself:

"That's fine, I'll just kill him in 'self-defense' if I see him in Sigil."
