A copy of a report sent to Charae and the Investigators at the Harmonium
((not sure exactly who I should send this too yet))
Investigation into possible tainted waters within the fountain near the Lady's Ward. *Gives description of fountain* A Dryad named Willowbark showed herself to us nearby Khazeek's Inn.. Complaining about the water she drank from.. the fountain.. was giving her a tingly feeling in her and her tree's leaves. I asked her how long this had been going on, and if it seemed to be getting worse.. to both questions she answered - yes.
At this point I had a guard get a sample of the water and take it to the head alchemist in the Laboratory.
I also asked the local patrol if they could ensure that fresh water was delivered to Miss Willowbark until the cause of the possible taint to the water was discovered.
I am awaiting results from the Head Alchemist, I directed his report to be sent to the Harmonium for further investigation. Should he find something.

A copy of this letter finds its way onto the table of Notary III Hograth Thorn.
He reads it, then dispatches two namers- one to find the dryad and question her the other one to gather some water as well.
The water will be sent to the Harmonium's own Alchemists and Mages, the following note attached to it:

Then a small reply is sent to Namer Quick:wrote: I hereby request a complete analysis of this sample, including a search for poisons, dangerous lifeforms and pollution or alteration by magic.

The water quality investigation, done by a dedicated but understaffed part of the harmonium, took a while. Initial results were "tainted", which is the baseline quality of water in Sigil. Since none of the simple water quality tests are useful in a city where all the drinkable water is a little off, other methods had to be used, and they called in someone capable of testing on more magical terms.
Eventually those results came in, and were reported back.
The findings, beyond the typical toxins present in the water supply, are very simple.
Hydra blood.

The halforc reads the report, sipping from his tea.
After he filed it he sets up a letter next.
Then the Half Orc will do some research- first in the Harmonium's own small library then in the Hall of Records. He will try to find out what he can about the effects of Hydra blood and also if there is someone knowing more about this creatures.
