Should you follow through with your threat to murder him, many deaths will follow in retaliation for the state sponsored murder of a free citizen of Sigil.

You have one opportunity to prevent further bloodshed and that is his immediate release.

The free people of Sigil demand it.

Refuse his freedom at your own peril and the peril of the people you hold dear.

As a measure, Christopher likely is made aware of this message so as to warn the troops under his supervision about the impending threat.

He would simply smile to himself as he is told of the threat and shake his head.

"I wonder what type of rope they will use" he muses to himself silently.

After reading the threat, something snaps in Lucia. Unfortunately, she still has to be present for the interrogation for Sir Loke, but she worries about the implied retribution if Mustafa is executed.

All she can do is wait until the execution happens.

Sent to the Triad (perfect copy to the leadership and rough copies scattered on the streets for the regular members to find), and SIGIS.

“The Triad has committed murder against the free people of Sigil by executing one of its great citizens and leaders of freedom, Mustafa. His was a voice for the people. A beacon of truth that shone light through the lies of the Triad.

His murder will not go unanswered.

Today, in the spirit of the Triad, a trial was held concerning this crime by the Triad and the verdict rendered, by the courts of the common man, was guilty. The Triad, each of their respective Factions included, was found guilty of this heinous crime and must pay for it as they force the people under their so called laws.

Unlike the Triad, the courts of the Free people of Sigil offer the convicted a choice during sentencing. They may offer up a single member of the Triad. A Judge, a Measure or a Justicar for execution.

Should they refuse this offer of free choice, the Court of the free People of Sigil shall choose for them, and it will be a Judge, a Measure and a JusticarÂ… all three.

We give you 2 full days to offer up one of the three for execution. After that, we will enact our right and make the choice for you.

Uran'sel reads too phoenix's claim on the sigis, and the thing makes her uneasy, for various reasons, some obvious, some less so

Lucia reads the multiple copies of the notice around the Barracks and in an uncharacteristic fit of rage, takes a copy of the notice, and crumples it in her dainty, yet calloused hand.

In her native language, she somehow mutters a coherent thought amid a big pile of obscenities. "The court of the common man would want all of us in the Barracks murdered, and our families will also be murdered just because they support our work. I had to heal hundreds of innocent soldiers and visitors due to Mustafa's assault."

Of course, no one around her understood a word.

Lucia then takes another notice, and crumples it. A blue aura could be seen around her. "Phoenix is a dead man. When I get my hands on him, I will squeeze his vitality so hard that he'll scream for mercy which I won't give as it gets squeezed into a worthless pulp. No one threatens my family and gets away alive."

Again, no one around her understood a word, and it may be best that no one understood what she said.

Caterina reads what is written. She reacts in no visible or overt way, she knew it would come to this. She sips her morning tea and carries on about her day.

When Hograth reads this he shrugs and then folds the piece of paper into a small bird he gives to the next child he sees.
After his shift he then heads over to the courts to meet his fiancee, to take her out for dinner.




In the prison Julius smiles faintly, filing the sheet with the other documents he gatherd during his long struggle against the anarchists.
It is an opportunity... soon some of them will come out of hiding to try this assassinations. After getting a list of the most exposed and prominent members of the Triad he dons his most battered suit of armour, slips into the dirty, worn coat he wears above it, checks his small curved knife and his staff.

Then he waits- a dirty, smelling traveller, his faction badge and holy symbol well hidden.

A namer of the Red Death delivered the notice to Justicar Charae while she was within her office the following morning. No stranger to death threats, the dark elf skimmed through the note, balled it up, and tossed it back to her subordinate.

"Are you not concerned, Justicar?" the namer asked her.

"No. Don't bring me trash like this anymore. Let the Harmonium sort it out." The dark elf picked up a pen and finished her small stack of paperwork. "You'll one day learn that idle death threats are just part of the job, dear."
