//The following is a thread for the event Liquid Dreamer is running.
Roughly an hour before peek two runners would be dispatched from the city court. One would head the short distance across petitioners square to find Charare in the prison. One would head into the clerks ward to find Brogar at his stand selling weapons in the Bazaar. Both would carry a sealed envelope which they would give to the intended recipient. When opened they would contain the same innocuous message:
wrote: I would very much like to continue our conversation of the previous day and await you in suite seven of the Foul Olde Spirit Inn, in the Clerks Ward.
Caterina
Before making her way there Caterina would also ask Hograth to join her, but she would do so in person as opposed to through a letter.
Shortly after that same hour, two tieflings make their way to their newest home in the Lady's Ward. True neither look like they fit in, but Dace has special skills when it comes to counterfeiting documents especially rare ones that are in always in demand within the Lady's. While Dash has always been handy with a blade and quick too.
As the brothers walk down a busy street, Dace looks into window shops as he passes while Dash keeps a wary eye out for anything looking to his brother harm. It always pays to be cautious when dealing with anything fake.
They both know that the Mercykillers have been tracking them down and they have gotten close according to information they received. No matter, both Dace and Dash have come to the conclusion to shut down this operation within a months time and move else where, perhaps somewhere else within the Lady's Ward.
Dace and Dash continue on home, not knowing how close the Mercykillers really are.
When Charae received the message at the locker room, she handed one of her Namers the prison accountability roster. She then folded up the message, closed her locker, and made her way to the rendezvous.
Of course Hograth joins his Magus following her to the meeting after sending a message to his fellow Harmonium officers to continue their investigations about the razorwine without him but keeping him informed.
As everyone arrives and they enter the suite they would see wine has been provided and there is a platter of sweet meats bread and olives. Caterina waits for them all to arrive before she explains further.
“As two of you already know and one of you doesn’t I have been charged with overseeing the capture of a cell of Anarchists who are hiding in the lady’s ward. They are cautious so we are going to have to be very careful here. There are those of you here who are much better qualified to make these kinds of decisions than I am but I will tell you what I have in mind and then you can tell me if you think it will work.”
Caterina takes a sip of her wine and continues.
“We have the location of the house, and we know there is a cell of five anarchists within it, of those we need two of them either alive or in a state they can be revived. We have I am told a two week window, so what I propose is that we use the first week for surveillance. I can scry and Brogar here who is not affiliated with any of the triad factions can act as a scout. What I hope to do is to establish their routines, when they are in when they are out when they are awake and when they are asleep. Ideally we would like to find a window of opportunity when the two we are after, that is to say Dash and Dace are at their most vulnerable. Then we will strike quickly and remove them.”
She glances around the room looking for reactions.
"As I am a known Mercykiller," Charae said. "I will be of little use on the surveillance team." The dark elf swirled her cup of wine, thinking. She thought it was the making of a good plan and nodded her approval to Caterina. "So I'll leave that matter to those best suited for it. Do we know anything about the house interior? All ways in and out of the house. There must have been a reason they picked it, so perhaps it has an escape route we don't know about."
"It is easy enough to find out. The Hall of Records should have some plans. However it is unknown how accurate they still are."
The tall halforc sits relaxed in his chair, his wine untouched.
"Perhaps we can stage a small accident or a failure in the water supply to have one of us infiltrate the house as a craftsman. but scrying should do the trick as well.
Anyway I agree. We should try to find out whatever we can before we decide to strike."
"I have frequented all areas of Sigil and am considered by some to be part of the scenery, I will find a corner to sit back and drink . . . and watch."
"Not me. Sounds like a solid plan, my Magus. I will do some good, old fashioned observation. I doubt anyone will find a halforc worker clearing away razorwine suspicious these days."
