Searchin For Answers

For 3 to 4 hours each day, Vara spends her time in the Hall of Records, searching their extensive collection on anything related to assassin guilds located within Sigil as well as looking for any material referencing two snakes with a dagger and a lightning bolt.

It is best not to inquire to much. You may draw too much attention to your self. Who knows when the next dagger that is found is in your back.

The elf Darremar would also spend much time each day searching through volumes for anything matching to the description of two snakes with a dagger between and a lightning bolt.

He would not openly inquire with anyone. He would merely search the various tomes on his own.

Sighs seeing the dagger.. as she knows they are watching. She makes a resolve to hire her friend Nick for some protection and continues her search, asking no questions to anyone as she has done before.

She muses she must be close to something if they are gonna leave a warning.

Now when Vara visits the Hall of Records, a tall huge figure is seen entering with her. Even though he doesn't follow her around, He watches her as she makes her rounds around the library and never strays too far for him to keep an eye on her. The large figure can be seen walking in her shadows, escorting her home and accompanying her while she tends to her normal duties.

Feeling embolden with the extra help, she methodically and logically searches the records looking for any relevant information.

Having been informed of the not so subtle threat to Vara. Darremar continued his quiet search through the Hall of Records for the answers he sought and considered it a fortuitous sign that he had not received a similar threat yet. He continued to seek the volumes on his own without telling any of what he was seeking.

Occasionally, a slight elf wearing a faded and worn blue tunic would be seen popping into the Hall of Records. She also occasionally catches sight of both the bronzed tattoo elf known as Vara and the paler skinned elf bearing the hood, she knows to be Darremar. However, she leaves both to their more intense study, as they seem more atuned to the study of tomes. Herself, she merely peers into many of the books in helpful search of that same symbol.

She also spends time in the Tattoo parlour, hunting around in Lervak's many books and scrolls of designs, even to search through his secret stash of 'etchings' and books containing more darker and extreme variety of design and symbol.

Of the two scrolls she keeps that bear the code and the second that also the letters, presumably being the cipher, she carefully makes copy and passes the copies quietly to Darremar, slipping them to him within the folds of a book as she passes by the desk where he sits.

The elf would discreetly pocket those hidden copies within a section of his book. This he does in much the same way he would when he acquires a new spell scroll that he would wish to scribe into his book later.

Having been told of the daggered threat and note and having also being given a careful task to sort earlier from the hooded elf, Lyra quietly passes a quick note to Vara in a book as she sees the bronze elf standing between the bookshelves.
