Rule 1: If people know you're a Thief...you're doing it wrong. As far as the common schlub is concerned we do NOT exist. Work to keep it that way.

Rule 2: We are thieves, not assassins. No bloodshed unless ABSOLUTELY necessary, and never more than the minimum.

Rule 3: NEVER take from those who have less than you do. The poor suffer enough, and are under the Guild's protection.

Rule 4: ONLY sell stolen property to Guild-approved Fences. Anybody else is too risky, and jeopardizes us all.

Rule 5: If you are captured you are on your own, the Guild will not acknowledge your actions and will NOT mount a rescue. We will not allow your incompetence to jeopardize the entire Guild.

Rule 6: When on the job, NO NAMES. Get yourself an Alias. While working with the Guild, your Alias is the only identity by which we will acknowledge you. The less you know about your fellow thieves the less you can do to jeopardize our operation.

Rule 7: No screwing over your fellow thieves. If multiple thieves go on a job you EACH split the take, with a small "donation" to the Guild coffers to see us expand.

Rule 8: No Guild Thief shall ever interfere with another Guild Thief's mark. First Come, First Dibs.

Rule 9: Treachery to the Guild will be met with most severe punishment. Don't do it.

Rule 10: Your fellow Thieves are your brothers in Shadow. Treat them as you would your own kin. Offer no sleight to them that you would not wish in turn. Shadow hide you.

At first interested, Wyvern stood off to the side and glanced over the “rules” of the guild. It was dark in this area of the Hive but not so much that she couldn’t read. She chuckled to herself before dropping the parchment over the edge of the ditch, watching it flutter to the surface and drift off to who knows where.

“I didn’t come all this way just to trade one set of rules for another. They also be expecting me to hand over a cut of my take just fer belongin’ to his little family and not be willin' to help me in a pinch? Nah..."

With that she stepped into the shadow and vanished. SheÂ’s survived this long on her own, lived by her own rulesÂ… she would continue to do so.
