Late one night on the prime world of Krynn Lord Sotth summons his soldiers to his throne room.
"Dakkon, he says you are one of most loyal knights im sending you on a mission to find and kill the mage known as Magius Majere"
"Mi'lord Magius is a very powerfull wizard and travels with the Hero Hima will i be allowed to take some of the knights with me? Soth nods yes take a dettachment of men they will help you in this task now go!
Dakkon bows and turns to gear up and gather his men he selects his finest enchanted blade and best men for the quest.
After a fortnight of travel they soon find thier mark...Hima Magiuse's best friend is not at the encampment he is alonemakeing a fire.
Dakkon orders the attack his men run toward the camp swords out but Magius is prepared with a wave of his hand the area becomes a thick dense forest and the mage is lost within the trees closeing around.
Suddenly Dakkon feels a presence behind him...He turns and Magius is there grining at him smugley
In a hollow voice Dakkon says...you are mine! and moves to swing his sword. as hes swinging Magious steps back and waves his hand and opens a portal to another realm.
As Dakkon follows thru with his swing his body wieght shifts and he falls thru the open portal vanishing from Krynn...
He appears in the middle of a city confused and angry at his failure he goes to find someone with knowledge to inform him of his location....This is his entry to the Cage.
Dakkons journey begins

Dakkon looks about and going on his knowladge from his home he knows the first place to ask for information is the local tavern so he head to the nearest one.
As he heads towards the bar he passes by some familiar creatures and not ones youd see in a local market place goblin selling beetles and an illithid slaver that figures he thinks to himself ironicaly as he approaches the bar he notices several other odd patrons conversing about thier various lives and adventures whatnots he addresses the barkeep "excuse me sir can i get some information please?"
To his supprise the barkeep is an actual fire efreet!
As he heads towards the bar he passes by some familiar creatures and not ones youd see in a local market place goblin selling beetles and an illithid slaver that figures he thinks to himself ironicaly as he approaches the bar he notices several other odd patrons conversing about thier various lives and adventures whatnots he addresses the barkeep "excuse me sir can i get some information please?"

The effreet looks at him and says "whatll it be?" Dakkon replies, "information where am i?"
The Effreet chuckles, "this is the city of door mate Sigil other call it the cage or even the centre of the multiverse but Sigil is the towns name proper."
Looks at Dakkon again "where do you come from we get all types here so whats your story eh?"
Dakkon pauses a moment "im from Krynn i was under orders to kill a well known mage but the crafty wizard tricked me and opened a doorway in front of me as i was charging at him and"...looks around "here i am"
The effreet nods "sounds likley for those never been here a portal is the only way to get here."
"How do i get back?" Dakkon asks
The effreet chuckles "No direct route unless you find a door way back otherwise youll have to journey the three rings of planes to get back to your prime world"
Dakkon sits on a bar stoll "tell me how many planes must i traverse?"
The effreet shrugs dunno alot id wager"
Dakkon slumps in his seat deafeated for now and places a gold on the bar stong ale please sir i need a drink after today i'll rest and try to think on it tommorow.
The efreet nods and takes the coin and pours Dakkon a tall mug of ale "Names Kahzeet by the way"
Dakkon lifts the mug and takes a big gulp after a few seconds he says "Dakkon ,Dakkon Blackblade."
He finishes his ale and asks "Where is the local inn?"
Kahzeet points across the bazzar to an old looking building with the words on the sighn faded away but he can make out the most important one Inn
Dakkon opens the door and walks inside...
