Following the strange events involving slaad, Harmonium, and the supposed Lady of Pain in the Great Bazaar, rumor begins spreading from the Lady's Ward that several Harmonium patrols didn't return to the Barracks at their appointed time. More than a day later now, and the rumors continue to grow, some speculating that the performance in the Hive was less heroic than the Lobsters would have you believe and that the slaad - or maybe even opportunistic Indeps - did away with the patrols in question.
Meanwhile in the alleyways feeding from the Great Bazaar into the surrounding wards, naked bodies have been found hung from rafters, with a sloppily written message scrawled over them: "NO LAW BUT OUR OWN!"
The Bazaar itself buzzes with the dark developments, drawing the conclusion that some Indeps have finally had enough with the Harmonium forcing their way into places where they're unwelcome. Some few even speculate that the slaad incident was carefully engineered by the Harmonium in order to gain a foot hold and foster a little good grace in the Bazaar. Strangely enough, the most frequent evidence stated to back this conspiracy theory is the appearance of the Lady of Pain, as the whisperers insist that she would never have appeared for something so small and that she was actually a Harmonium mage playing the part. Surely even the Lady's role in the plot was meant to link her power with the Harmonium's in the minds of the witnesses. More pragmatic locals insist that even the Hardheads aren't stupid enough to impersonate the Lady of Pain and risk her ire.
Thus far the Harmonium have refused to make an official comment based on any of this, nor will they confirm that they have missing patrols at all. Instead, officials will only assure that those guilty of the alleyway murders will be found and brought to justice.
Rumor: Harmonium Taking Losses?

Earlier today several more bodies were found hanging from the buildings beneath the Siren's Song, each one smeared with the message, "NOT OUR LAW!" Harmonium officers were immediately dispatched to investigate the surrounding area, including the spelljammer overhead. However, when the officers confronted the owners, they were met with resistance.
Rumors are speculative at best regarding what happened on the Siren's Song, but some time later the Harmonium were seen escorting Dace and Sasha Andor, Kala Ta'kan, and a kobold to the barracks. Witnesses range in opinion, some claiming they were unrestrained and others insisting that they were chained and carried upon game-poles.
Even later all four were seen exiting the Barracks, Kala last of all. And everyone pretty much agrees that they looked furious. There are yet no developments regarding the hanging bodies.

A rather annoyed, armor-clad drow could be seen around the scene not long after the incident, wanting to clean his apparent rented house from all the non-sense around it.
"I didn' remeber asking sum Anarch shyteface tae decorate me house... am gonna break someone in 'alf fer zhis!"

Somewhere else, in kitchen of Hive house...
Sill heard some chatter from two volunteers at Allesha's charity diner. She did enter to gather information, but that was unexpected. Well, there will be time to ask around about that.
Hearing a yell, drow realized that she forgot about the dishes, and renewed her efforts in scrubbing the slobs' dirty plates.

At the Armoury Mauric smirks as he listens to his fellow Doomguards relaying the rumours they heard in the great bazar. "Good, they have finally awoken from their long slumber, was almost afraid we would have to work entropy on the barmy army all alone."

Soon rumors started to spread that the harmonium wasn't the only target, two mecykillers that have been reporting missing where found gutted in an alley. Another event happened in plain sight, when a group of mercykillers standing out in uniform in the middle of Khaazet's bar had the nasty surprise to get a shrapnel bomb thrown at them. It is rumored that after the mercykillers went to make thier reports someone in the middle of the crowd yelled "NOT OUR LAW !"
