Justicar Charae of the Mercykillers begins advertising a gladiatorial tournament to be held at the gynasium in the near future. The event will consist of the following:
wrote:One-on-One:

Tier 1: Levels 1-10

Tier 2: Levels 11-20

Tier 3: Levels 21+
wrote:Team Death Match:

No less than 2, max of 4 on one team.

Tier 3: Maximum Level 14

Tier 2: Minimum Level: 15
wrote:Rules of Engagement:

There is no admission fee to enter the tournament, however you must enter without any equipment except for the ones purchased at the tournament from the event coordinator. All items will be sold at a 50% discount and are the buyer's to keep, but the buyer must fight in the tournament if they purchase an item. May only purchase up to four items for reasons of fairness. Valuable items may be used as currency but only accepted at the coordinator's discretion.

The amount spent on items will be put into a pool and the winner(s) of the categories will receive winnings. The more participants, the bigger the pot!

Honesty is important when removing all personal equipment not purchased. Violators will be booted from the event and not refunded any expenditures.

\\Fun is the name of the game! Great opportunity for some newbies who have a little money but can't quite afford the gear they want and the more people who participate, the better! There will be a few OOC rules on certain abilities that cannot be used. Will post those later but one is going to be no Bigby Forceful Hand so mages don't dominate due to lack of gear (sorry mages :P). If you are interested, reply here with the character you wish to enter and their approximate level. Once we have enough participants, will schedule a date!

If you have suggestions, please PM me rather than replying to this thread. Want to keep this thread simple.

((Monks FTW then))

Murree Spirus notes the sign.

"Mrrrrr, if i'm in town, the i may as well get in some practice with some people with real claws. And scratching a few Red killers would be worthwhile."

((Murree is high epic - 27 IIRC))

Vai'aian takes a real good look as the flyer and heads straight for the gym/dojo to prepare.

(FYI: No idea if I will get a chance to actually play due to college and work)

Karl sat on the ground, leaning against the wall that surrounded Khazeets. As always, the massive Orgrillion stared blankly into space, almost completely oblivious to the city around him. He was avoided by most everyone, even the Harmonium. Not because of any penchant for violence or aggressionÂ… but because he was simply an obstacle to be stepped around. He caused no issues, no problemsÂ… except for his massive self, taking up room. He didnÂ’t know anyone in the city, even those who called him friend were forgotten when they walked away. Most times he didnÂ’t even realize he was in a cityÂ… the unfortunate effects of a shattered mind.

Those who knew Karl were aware that he enjoyed arena combat… even if he didn’t remember competing, so when folks talked about the competition, he took notice. Not “get-up-and-run-over” type notice, a simple slow turn of the head and slight grunt. That was enough for his friends to notice.

Should anyone sign him up and ensure he remembersÂ… he would appreciate it.

(Karl is a high epic Fighter build. No Spells, very few special abilities. HeÂ’s not a PvP build but loves scrapping nonetheless)

Vierdra passes the poster and whimsically signs her name under a one on one bout, tier one.

A woman with short clipped brown hair and bright green eyes returns a filled out entry form. Charae may recognize her from the prison. The wyvern seal on her armour alongside the symbol of Heironeus would suggest she is a mercykiller.

The filled out form would give her name as Jentia Snyden and would register her interest in the third tier matches.

//Does ECL count when determining what level range my character fits in? (Will make this an IC application when I know what I should be looking forward to.) //

((Not my event, but as we include ECL in most things here, i would advise yes, it is considered))
