Holy Sword?

Bugging or something else, had a talk with Miraie about this.

Ok, so, my wand on a regular +5 short sword makes it an unholy avenger and it appears on my sheet, including the 2d6 dmg.

However, when I used the more epic swords Kelth has, I see the attack bonus increase, but it does not add the additional 2d6 damage...

Miraie's theory is that the item cost of my swords might be too high for a succes, but it's odd that it does give me the attack bonus...

Thoughts?

The common theory is that Holy Sword spell for reasons unknown utilizes the old UMD script (which is item price tied DC check) as opposed to the "new" one which came with SoZ (which has static DC).

My guess is that the DC is only to check for the magic damage vs evil.

So, effectively, Kelth's UMD is too low to make the dmg happen on his more epic swords due to this?

I don't think it has been tweaked at all? I think that's Obsidian bug, one which hasn't been touched because it already gets stuck anyway and if one was fixed, so would the other.

I want to find this Nobody and break his arse. Paladins don't like to be liked, they want holy henchmen after their lead.
