The Document was filed with Measure One Factotum Charles, for all Members to look into, or to join into Attelstan's Investigation.

~ Crime Scene Report~

Current Officers on the case:

-Notary One Attelstan, Badge number 5117-4842

((Date and time added))

Description of the Scene:

After leaving the Hive-Ward for patrol and entering the Clerk-Ward, I came across a corpse upon the cobblestone. The body had been lying there for roughly one or two hours.
The Victim is in its 20s.

The cause of death has been pointed to various cuts, with either fine blades or some form of Magic spell.

Victim was believed to have been killed on the spot, without it having been moved. After the dead was done, the victim's left hand was replaced with a woman's hand. Afterwards, the body was frozen in order to preserve its state, before decomposition.

On the body, a vial with powdered bone was found, a black thick liquid and a parchment with presumably a magic spell.

First Witnesses of the crime:

-An Air Genasi called Garis
-A Tiefling called Ari

True to his word, the other patrolling Harmonium member had gathered up a squad to recover the corpse into the Barracks for further examination. The corpse of the man has been protected with preserving magic, and though the Harmonium do have some good full-time infirmary workers whom could perform proper autopsy, they are at the current moment pre-disposed to other duties in Arcadia for a couple of days, that will push back the proper autopsy report.

So far the superiors have been willing to let notary Attelstan run the case and as such he is the ranking investigator for this case, and it is up to him to decide what's the next course of action in the investigation.

Currently known

The Body
The body is a human somewhere in mid-twenties, he remains unidentified so far. The left hand had been removed and replaced by a womans hand, which is either that of a human, elf or something similar judging the skin texture and colour. The female hands ring finger has a notable pale spot indicating usage of a ring there, but it is missing. Along the entire length of body are cuts and slices, they also do not appear what to be produced from a fight. However the clothes are remarkably all intact. When the body was brought in it was still de-frosting, now it is entirely melted and the putrid stench of death is apparent upon its vicinity. On the backside, near the left shoulder there is a piece of skin missing. And notably the body appears to be missing a lot of blood. And no, before anyone considers the obvious, there are no notable and telltale bitemarks that would be easy to spot at least. [other details pending a closer examination] [/li]
The Possessions
A vial containing white powdered bone. Some black gooey stuff, it has tar like odor and could be identified as such soon enough. The scroll contains a cryptic symbol which Attelstan was unable to truly identify purpose of, spell scroll is certainly a plausible theory. 61 gold pieces ((unless Attelstan helped himself into them)).
